To celebrate their achievements, we hold departmental parties whenever several faculty members have published new books.
Colloquium Series
We typically have 2-3 speakers a semester, both from Indiana University and outside, give talks on their current research projects.
Folklore and Ethnomusicology Senior Symposium
Held every December, the Folklore and Ethnomusicology Senior Symposium features presentations on the research projects of students in the department’s senior capstone seminar (FOLK-F497).
