Pravina Shukla receives accolades for excellence in teaching and is inducted into FACET Class of 2026

Pravina Shukla, Provost Professor and Chair of the Department of Folklore and Ethnomusicology, has just been selected for induction into the FACET Class of 2026: The Faculty Academy on Excellence in Teaching, a Presidential Initiative of Indiana University.

Introduced in 1989, FACET identifies colleagues who have made consequential contributions to our students and who demonstrate promise in further enhancing the effectiveness of our teaching and learning missions. The Statewide Selection Committee bestows on Dr. Shukla this special recognition.
