Hilary-Joy Virtanen (Folk MA '08) was honored as the Board of Trustees Distinguished Faculty Award recipient at the 2019 Commencement Ceremony at Finlandia University in Michigan. Dr. Virtanen is an assistant professor in the Finnish & Nordic Studies Program.
